John Terzaken, Global Co-Chair of the Firm’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation Practice, and Associates Avia Gridi and Laurel Fresquez, authored an article titled, “Cartel Enforcement Shifts Toward Pocketbook-Related Issues,” which was published by Dow Jones Risk Journal. The article discussed trends in cartel fines imposed by global antitrust enforcers, noting how a decrease in the fine figures over the past year signaled a continued decline in enforcement for 2025, a trend which is expected to continue in 2026. The article also highlighted a noticeable shift in focus among enforcers toward the pursuit of inherently smaller domestic matters.
