Notable experience prior to joining Simpson Thacher includes:
- Benihana Inc. on its sale to The ONE Group Hospitality for a total deal value of $365 million
- Brazos Midstream Holdings III, LLC in a $325 million perpetual preferred equity facility with EOC Partners, Elda River Capital and other investors.
- Global growth equity investment company in its $100 million Series A preferred equity investment in a media and technology company focused on music, film, podcasting and creative services.
- Kingston Technology in the sale of its HyperX gaming peripherals business to HP Inc. for $425 million.
- Kingston Technology, one of the world’s largest independent manufacturers of memory products, as a member of a consortium that purchased Toshiba Memory Corporation, a fully owned subsidiary of Japanese conglomerate Toshiba, for approximately $18 billion
- VCA Inc. in its $9.1 billion sale to Mars Corporation
- A global private equity fund in an acquisition of super-majority stake in a company with an enterprise value of approximately $350 million that operates a commercial fleet of tactical ex-military aircraft and provides other aviation services and training to the U.S. Military, Department of Defense, foreign allied international militaries and flight training schools

Kevin received his J.D. From University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 2015, where he was co-president of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and senior editor of the Southern California Law Review.
