Shahpur K. Kabraji is a Partner in the firm’s Banking and Credit Practice. He focuses on domestic and cross-border syndicated credit, acquisition finance and other leveraged finance transactions. He regularly advises leading sponsors and their portfolio companies in connection with a variety of corporate finance transactions, including acquisition financings, bank and bridge loan financings, unitranche financings and refinancings. His recent representations include advising Cinven in connection with its acquisition financing for UAX, H.I.G Capital in connection with its acquisition financing for Kantar Media and Five Arrows in connection with multiple acquisition financings.
Shahpur has been recognised by Chambers UK, Legal 500 UK and IFLR1000, where he is described by clients as a “top guy with great technical knowledge, commercial feeling and work capacity.” Shahpur contributed to the 2016 inaugural edition of “Getting the Deal Through: High-Yield Debt” and subsequent updates.
